Requirements to obtain the TURISTA
PENSIONADO status in Panama

Power of
attorney
-
Good health
certificate issued within the
three months prior to the date
of request.

Photocopy of
all the pages of the passport
authenticated before a notary in
Panama.

(4) passport size pictures

Police Record
issued within the last 6 months

passport (should not expire

A document
certificating that you are a
retiree or pensioner from a
foreign government,
international organization or
private company.
The document should state that you
receive monthly a minimum income or
pension of US$500.00 or its
equivalent in a foreign currency.
If you have dependents the income or
pension should add US$100.00 per
dependent.
If
you are a retiree from a private
company, you should produce
documents that certify that the
company is operating; also evidence
that the pension is being paid
(check stubs, bank statement showing
wire transfers, etc.)
IMPORTANT
NOTE: Every document
issued outside Panama in a foreign
language should be translated to the
Spanish language by a certified
public translator and stamped at the
closest

Apostilled by the local
