other tasks, until she

Panama since 2001,
dealing basically with
real estate, immigration
and the formation of
corporations and private
interest foundations.
Since 2003 she learned
about relocation
services for newcomers
while studying and
working in Windsor,
Ontario, Canada. She
first joined the local
YMCA settlement services
as a volunteer in
Windsor, Ontario, Canada

2004 she came back to
Panama and joined in a
partnership with an
already established Real
Estate company acting as
the company on site
lawyer. As part of
this enterprise she
reorganized the company,
gave a new image to it
and offered a new range
of services that
included legal advice to
foreigners when buying
real estate property in
Panama. While working in
this partnership she
provided clients with
legal advise on
investments at the
Republic of Panama,
title search,
representation before
the Ministry of Economy
and Finances for taxes
purposes, official
translation of legal
documents from English
to the Spanish Language
and vice versa,
formation of
corporations, opening
bank accounts in Panama,
immigration and
relocation in general.
On December 2005 Berliza Arosemena’s Law
Offices have expanded and
moved to a top central
location to better serve her

plans, writing articles

Mayra is in charge of
the Notary Services in
our office and assists
Ms. Arosemena in some
Immigration processes.
Cesar is experienced in filing
applications at the Ministry of Economy
and Finances, calculation of 2% transfer
taxes, request tax exemptions for sales
of property, application of tax
exemption for new properties, getting
certifications of goodstanding for
property and individuals, and all other
related processes.
He is also
incharged of all the Public Registry
filing for our office, title search,
convertion of rights of possesion into
titled property. Everything done
in record time.

He has been a
member of our work team for
almost a three years now,
within this time Jose Oscar
